Running a digital marketing agency has required me to utilize several platforms to stay organized
and be able to keep my business running smoothly every day. I always have a long to-do list,
employees to manage, and clients to give my best efforts. Over time, I have found platforms
that have not only relieved stress but made my days as a business owner much easier.

Asana
Asana has truly been a lifesaver for me and my business. It is an easy-to-use platform that keeps
me and my employees organized. Asana is based off of creating tasks, but you can customize
these tasks to exactly what you need. Within Asana, you can create projects and then tasks
beneath those projects.
If you are managing multiple clients, this can be helpful to create your own “to do” list for each
client with specific due dates. Gone are the days where you might forget when something is due
because you will have it all in Asana and can set reminders as well.
Airtable
If you are not familiar with Airtable, it is a platform that allows you to build custom applications
for your business. It helps to streamline any process, workflow, or project. You do not have to
know coding and can completely customize everything to fit your business.
I created a workplace within Airtable that I can allow employees to access. From keeping track
of upcoming blog posts, passwords, and social media ideas, Airtable has been extremely
beneficial for keeping things in one place. If you want to use Airtable even more extensively, you
can connect it to other tools and use it for things such as publishing social media posts and
sending email updates.
Hootsuite
Hootsuite is a social media management software that can help you schedule and plan your
content. You can integrate Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and
TikTok. By being able to integrate every social media platform into this system, it is ideal for
someone who manages social media across many platforms.
Hootsuite allows you to schedule multiple accounts within one login, which makes it great for
managing many different social media clients. Along with being able to schedule posts ahead of
time, you can also manage notifications and messages from social channels.
Planoly
Planoly is another social media scheduling program that I use frequently. I have found that
Planoly is great for scheduling Pinterest posts and when I need to manage Instagram, Pinterest,
and TikTok together, I like the ease of using Planoly for all three platforms.
Not only can you utilize Planoly for scheduling, but you can use it to plan your feed. Planoly
allows you to plug in your posts and see how your feed will look ahead of time. For anyone that
loves their feed to look aesthetically pleasing, Planoly can be a great tool to see if you like how it
looks prior to posting.
These are the everyday platforms that I have found to be extremely useful as the owner of a
digital marketing agency! Let me know if you use any of these as well!
