When you are a small business owner, it can be tough to invest in using different systems and
platforms without knowing what will work for you. There is typically a lot of trial and error to
find the best system for you and what will help keep your business running smoothly. Lucky for
you, there are free online marketing platforms that can be beneficial while not costing you
anything. Today on the journal, I am talking about the free online platforms that I have used!

Canva
Canva is an ideal program for anyone that needs to create graphics for social media or
marketing purposes. You can sign up for a free Canva account and still have access to thousands
of templates, pictures, and graphics that you can use. Canva is user-friendly and simple to use,
which makes it a great program for any digital marketing purposes.
Mailchimp
If you have an email list, you need to use Mailchimp! Mailchimp will allow you to manage your
email list, create email newsletters from easy-to-use templates, and keep track of the analytics
of your emails. When you are sending emails to people that have signed up for your email list,
you want to know how many emails people opened, if anybody deleted them, and who
unsubscribed.
Asana
Asana is the ideal platform for task management. You will have the ability to create projects and
then tasks beneath each project. This is helpful when you are managing a large number of
clients and want to keep track of things are due for each client. Asana also allows you to not
only assign a due date for each task, but you can assign the tack to a specific person as well. It
has made my life so much easier and allows me to keep track of every aspect of my business.
Planoly
Planoly is an ideal scheduling tool for Pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok. It will allow you to
schedule all three from the same program, which is a time saver as a social media manager. You
can also plan your feed and see an overview of your upcoming posts.
Pinterest
Pinterest is a must for almost any business. Not only can you save pins, but you can create your
own with specific keywords and hashtags so other people can find you when they search those
terms. How many times have you searched for inspiration on Pinterest? I know I have many
times! Pinterest is a powerful social media marketing tool that I think everyone could benefit
from using.
Instagram
We all use Instagram on a daily basis, and it is one of the most popular social media platforms
out there. It is the perfect tool to promote your business and create a community online at no
cost. There is nothing more fun than creating a pretty feed for your audience!
These free platforms are all great in their own way and have helped me run my business better
than ever! Let me know if you have any suggestions on other free platforms that are worth
checking out!
